This is a rare and unique piece of Trinitite. This piece contains Black Trinitite, presenting black striations, small black spots, along with darker hues of glassy greens on the top side.

This piece has a very glassy topside that is slick to the touch. Most of the crystallizations on this piece of Trinitite are localized to the areas next to the large crater on the side. The crater is lined with crystalline, and crystallizations can be seen behind the crystalline. These sparkle in the light and can be seen by the naked eye. You can clearly see the difference between the black and dark green hues on the top side, as well as the bright green crystallizations and some black crystallizations on the edges and sides. The piece has a smaller crater lined with small crystallizations running along its edges on the opposite side.

Trinitite presenting with black collected pieces of the steel towers that held Gadget. This piece, when studied closely, has a purplish color on the top side, meaning the piece picked up copper from the copper wiring around Gadget and laid out across the desert floor. Purpling is associated with Omni- Crystals (Red Trinitite). A photograph shows this clearly. During light play, you will see all of the characteristics with the naked eye. The photos taken are 3x magnified because what can be seen with the naked eye, cannot be seen by zero magnification of the camera lens.

The interior of the case has a double-sided reversible black/white velvet cushion for the background color. *It is important to note: When the Trinitite is placed in the display case, the piece looks exactly as is out of the display case. The Easel display case can adjust to different angles.

Measurements of the Easel display case: 2 3/8" x 2.5" x 1/2"
